The National Museum of the American Indian's George Gustav Heye Center is the historic Alexander Hamilton U. S. Custom House. It is located on the south end of Manhattan Island, in the midst of the financial district, near Bowling Green Park, Battery Park, and the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.
