Who used
the Inka Road?

Inka nobility, armies, diplomatic delegations, and others on official business, such as messengers and work parties, used the Road. Caravans of llamas, numbering into the thousands, carried goods and supplies along the Road. Ordinary people could use the Road only with permission from local officials.
