Amram, Jr. (1901-1990, a self-trained archaeologist and cartographer who explored Chiapas and Guatemala in the 1930s on behalf of the Academy of Natural Sciences [Philadelphia] and the American Geographical Society [New York]); purchased by MAI in 1934 using funds donated by George Heye's sister, Mrs. James B. Clemens (Marie Heye Clemens, ca. 1869-1943).
