The Reddmen

The Reddmen gained national media attention this spring when their song “The Secrets of Amanda Prines” was featured on an episode of the ABC hit drama Grey’s Anatomy. The Northern Cheyenne and Lakota group—J. Waylon Porcupine on vocals and guitar, Trevor Leo on bass, and Miyo One Arrow on drums—has been playing together since 1996. Self-described “advocates of lo(ud) fidelity recklessness and sassy pop numbers,” the Reddmen write songs about relationships and rock ’n’ roll. They released their first album, Sons of the Morning Star (Tigers vs. Crime), in 2003 and their latest album, Arsenic Ballads (Tigers vs. Crime), in 2006.
